You are hereby duly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Canada-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AGM).
Fifteen (15) CCICL members are running for election to fill the six (6) vacant positions on the Board of Directors.
These candidates meet the requirements of the Regulations and their nominations have been accepted by the nominating committee.

Dear members, partners, and friends of the Canada-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
In these difficult times, we are turning to you for an urgent cause. Since September 17, Lebanon has been plunged into an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, with the situation deteriorating in all regions. Tens of thousands of families have been displaced and are now living on the streets, and many victims need to be transported to healthcare centers. This tragedy comes at a time when the country is already weakened by a major economic crisis.
In light of this situation, the Chamber's Board of Directors has discussed how to offer its support in response to the crisis, in line with its mission and values. We are therefore announcing our support for the Lebanese Red Cross, which is doing immense humanitarian work on the ground, providing vital assistance: ambulances to evacuate the wounded, blood transfusions, medical care, and direct aid to displaced persons.
In collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross, we have created a joint donation platform to collect donations that will be redirected to the Lebanese Red Cross via the relief fund: Humanitarian Needs in Lebanon.
In the spirit of solidarity, community support, and patriotism, we urge and encourage you to contribute to this campaign, which aims to help the Lebanese Red Cross continue to operate in extremely difficult conditions where needs are increasing every day. In addition, thanks to the Government of Canada, your donation will have twice the impact: for every dollar donated by Canadians between September 24 and November 3, 2024, to the Canadian Red Cross Lebanon Humanitarian Needs Relief Fund, the Government of Canada will match that amount, up to a maximum of $3 million. Regular reports on the use of funds will be published, and a tax receipt will be issued instantly after the donation.
